I am very generous in the types of comments I will allow. I reserve the right to delete comments that are inappropriate, offensive, or obvious comment spam. Comments, in the context of this policy, include pingbacks and trackbacks.

If you want to use keywords in the name field for comments, then you should use the YourName@YourKeywords format in place of just your name. Any comment that doesn't look appropriate may be deleted regardless of what format you choose to use.

Do not link to commercial gambling or pornographic websites. I will delete comments that link to them as soon as I discover them. If your website includes adult images of any kind, please label your comments with a warning such as "not safe for work", although it is not required for you to do so.

Do not link to spam blogs (splogs). They are easily identifiable and comments that link to them will be deleted regardless of any other rules.

This blog is written for adults. While I have no problem with comments from younger people, I will delete obvious childish comments.

One or more filters are in place to prevent comment spam. If a comment containing spam slips through, it will be deleted as soon as I discover it.

I do not moderate comments except as I stated above. I will eventually view all comments and will delete comments as necessary.

You retain ownership of your comments. You grant me the limited right to publish them on this blog (as the current comment or in an article). Comments will never be used out of context and will not be used as testimonials for products or services without express permission.

I reserve the right to contact you via email regarding any comment you make.
